Ask Dr. Kaiser Question: I am a 54 year old father of a recently diagnosed 22 year old male, hetero son. This is all new to me and my son. He seems to want to bury his head and make believe it doesn't exist. We have his latest labs which I am faxing to you at the below number. Please help ME to help my SON. I am buying your book and ordering the vitamin protocol. (He says he'll take them). He is the assistant manager of a huge night club, keeps horrible hours and lots of stress. As of right now, he is still covered by my insurance, but will get kicked off as of his birthday, April 26, 2002. I have a friend that says you respond to his questions. Please help me. It must be very difficult to be more willing to work on improving the health of your son than he is willing to himself. However, I have something very important to share with you. The only thing that you can do for your son is to love him and support his growth and development in positive ways. I have looked at your son's labwork and his immune sytem is very strong and stable at the present time. My advice is for you to get some help in dealing with the pain of all of this. Your son will come around in his own time and fortunately it appears he will have quite a bit of time in which to grow and change.Check out our Message Board! |
