Dr. Kaiser replies: Deca-durabolin (a.k.a. nandrolone) is an anabolic steroid that is often used to help increase body cell mass or lean muscle tissue. By increasing this component of body composition it is possible to increase energy levels, mood, and overall quality of life. If not overdone, anabolic treatments can also boost immune system strength. A 1.5 inch long, 23 gauge needle is usually used to inject Deca-durabolin deep into the gluteus maximus muscle. It should only be done by trained medical personnel to ensure that the large nerves in the buttocks area are avoided. |
